Kenneth L. Harris, OD completed his undergraduate studies at U.C. Berkeley receiving a B.S. in Physiological Optics. He then entered the University of California School of Optometry where he graduated with honors with a Doctorate in Optometry. After graduation, Dr. Harris served as an optometric physician in the United States Navy, attached to the Portsmouth Naval Hospital in Portsmouth, Virginia. He has had a research paper on contact lenses published in a major optometric journal.
Dr. Harris is a member of the American Optometric Association, Oregon Optometric Physicians Association, Southern Oregon Optometric Society, and the Ashland Chamber of Commerce as well as a long-time business member of the Oregon Shakespeare Festival. He has coached several youth soccer, baseball and football teams. In his free time, he enjoys biking, skiing, hiking and gardening.
