Kenneth L. Harris, OD completed his undergraduate studies at U.C. Berkeley receiving a B.S. in Physiological Optics. He then entered the University of California School of Optometry where he graduated with honors with a Doctorate in Optometry. After graduation, Dr. Harris served as an optometric physician in the United States Navy, attached to the Portsmouth Naval Hospital in Portsmouth, Virginia. He has had a research paper on contact lenses published in a major optometric journal.
Dr. Harris is a member of the American Optometric Association, Oregon Optometric Physicians Association, Southern Oregon Optometric Society, and the Ashland Chamber of Commerce as well as a long-time business member of the Oregon Shakespeare Festival. He has coached several youth soccer, baseball and football teams. In his free time, he enjoys biking, skiing, hiking and gardening.
Gregory Valle, OD
Dr. Valle was born and raised in Klamath Falls and is happy to return to beautiful Southern Oregon. After receiving his Bachelor of Science from Oregon State University with highest honors, he began his optometric studies at Southern College of Optometry. During his time in Memphis, Dr. Valle received and maintained the SCO Presidential endowed scholarship and graduated with honors. He also completed a primary care and ocular disease residency at the Veterans Healthcare System of the Ozarks hospital in Fayetteville, AR in 2013.
Dr. Valle has a special interest in the early diagnosis and treatment of eye disease, including dry eye. As a glasses wear since the age of six and a contact lens wearer at age 10, Dr. Valle believes in patient education and communication and loves helping people understand their eyes and vision better.
